Terms and conditions

  1. The delegate sharing rate applies to a maximum of two people per room and both must be registered as a delegate.
  2. The quoted rate for a double room includes the registration cost of the delegate partner.
  3. Registrations will be confirmed within 5 working days after receipt of the registration.
  4. The Local Organising Committee reserves the right to automatically release your booking 21 days after the invoice date if it has not been paid in full.
  5. The Local Organisng Committee reserves the right to automatically move you from early bird registration to standard delegate registration if full payment is not received by 30 April 2017.
  6. The Local Organising Committee reserves the right to automatically release your booking if it has not been paid in full by 31 May 2017.
  7. Payments can be submitted by Bank Transfer, Credit Card or Direct Deposit (South African delegates only) as stated on the invoice.
  8. All payments should be made to SATNAC.
  9. All fees are payable in South African Rand (ZAR).
  10. Credit card payments will be processed within 5 - 7 working days of receipt of the registration.
  11. Credit card payments will be calculated, equal to the Rand amount, according to the rate of exchange on the actual day processed.
  12. Please indicate SATNAC 2017 and your reference number or name on all money transfers.
  13. It is the responsibility of international delegates to ensure that the amount (in foreign currency) submitted for payment is equal to the Rand amount (registration fee).
  14. All cancellations must be received in writing.
  1. If a booking is cancelled before 31 March 2017 a R 1 400 cancellation fee will be charged.
  2. If a booking is cancelled between 1 April and 30 April 2017 a R 2 400 cancellation fee will be charged.
  3. If a booking is cancelled between 1 and 31 May 2017 a R 3 600 cancellation fee will be charged.
  4. If booking is cancelled between 1 and  26 June 2017 a R 15 000 cancellation fee will be charged.
  5. If booking is cancelled between 27 June and 3 September 2017 or in the case of a no-show a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

Cancellation Policy:

Conference Package for delegates includes:

  1. Conference registration fees
  2. Accommodation on Freedom of the Seas cruise liner from 3 to 10 September 2017
  3. Welcome Function on Sunday evening, 3 September 2017
  4. Sponsors Function on Monday evening, 4 September 2017
  5. Farewell Function on Saturday evening, 9 September 2017
  6. Delegate handouts
  7. All meals and refreshments on Freedom of the Seas at complementary venues and refreshments below $12
  8. Accompanying persons can attend all functions at no additional cost

Conference Package for delegates excludes:

  1. Items of a personal nature such as laundry, telephone calls, gifts purchased, spa treatments, etc.
  2. WiFi, cost at speciality restaurants and surcharges on beverages above $12
  3. Flights to and from Barcelona
  4. Any accommodation in Spain before or after the cruise
  5. Any transfers between airport and harbour
  6. Visa cost
